10 Palmer Road, Swampscott, Massachusetts
About us
We met in the spring of 2021 near Zion National Park at the wedding of our mutual friends. Our instant connection over a shared interest in production (Nina with her background in theater and Shawn's extensive film career) brought us together, but our passion for the outdoors really sealed the deal. Knowing we had found a best friend in one another, we became an inseparable force.
Since then, we have traveled to Mexico and Vietnam, backpacked through Glacier, Olympic, and Mt. Rainier National Parks, climbed rocks in Nevada, Utah, Washington, and California, run a marathon, and enjoyed countless nights together from the comfort of our tent. Just this past January, we hiked 120 miles through the Patagonia region of southern Chile and Argentina.
In March 2024, we bought our first home in Salt Lake City, Utah! We are located in the heart of the city in an up and coming neighborhood for the arts, restaurants, and breweries. Come stay with us sometime! It's been a huge new project that has kept up plenty busy.
Our relationship was founded on the prospect of unique experiences and the desire to challenge ourselves during this one short life that we have. Whether we are summiting snow-capped peaks or traversing sandy desert washes, starting a life together will undoubtedly be our best adventure yet.

Summer Formal
Arrive dressed to impress while keeping in mind that summer in New England can be hot and humid. However, the venue is on the ocean which will provide a nice breeze, and most of our celebrating will be done after the sun goes down.
We spend a lot of time in athletic clothing, come show off and play dress-up with us for the evening.
Accommodations
Here are a list of hotel accommodations that will place you within a 15 minute drive of the venue. We recommend staying in Salem for easy access to Boston, shops, restaurants, and the venue.
The Hawthorne Hotel, Salem, MA
Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites, Salem, MA
The Salem Inn, Salem, MA
The Hotel Marblehead, Marblehead, MA
Staying in the heart of Salem offers great options for dining, art, and unique shopping in the historic "Witch City". Marblehead offers a quieter, more residential feel. We also encourage you to check Air BnB.
Please note that summer is a busy time in New England and therefore flights and accommodations tend to book quickly or become expensive when arranged last minute.
Getting around
Swampscott, Salem, and Boston all fall on the same Commuter Rail line, making it easy to get around between the three towns during your stay on the Massachusetts North Shore. Please visit the link below to find the commuter rail schedule.

Notes for navigating:
Trains going out of the city from Boston to Salem (South to North, with Swampscott in between) will be labeled as "Outbound -> Newburyport/Rockport"
Trains going into the city from Salem to Boston (North to South) will be labeled as "Inbound -> Newburyport/Rockport"
Trains labeled "f" are flagstops. This means you must be visible on the train platform or else the train will not stop at this location.
